2) No. As far as I know each character's height is purely for aesthetics.
3) I can't answer this because I don't own the psycho.
4) Possibly several reasons but one of the major ones is Money Shot chains. Money Shot gives the last shot in the magazine bonus damage, and Inconceivable has a chance of making shots not cost ammo. Pair these together and you can trigger Money Shot multiple times in succession.
When you reach UVHM, the game gets harder, so Axtons turrets do not kill for you anymore. And the turrets are ony a distraction for the raid bosses.
There are videos on YouTube that can help you choose a character to play.
Just type in Bordeerlands 2 Axton VS Hyperious, or whatever. Watch the game play.
I have over 2,000 hours played and have all my characters at lvl 72. I love Salvador and dislike Krieg, but I am going to play them all to OP 8.
Have fun.
So yeah, Salvador is mostly hated because of association with bad players, but there's really nothing wrong with the little guy.
I always thought he was the 'wannabee assassin' class until I actually tried him out. You'd think a character like him is only good for sniping, but most of the skills that help his ability with sniper rifles also apply to shotguns and certain pistol types. Shotgun Ninja is hilarious to play. You're constantly in the action, attacking and reloading, vanishing and reappearing.
Maya was my first character, and she's excellent for a number of reasons. She has lower damage, sure, but her special is fantastic for both teamfights and solo. At lower levels, it just holds enemies, but at higher levels it can slag enemies or revive friends, both of which are incredibly useful and can help you duo difficult bosses.
Gaige is fun, but restrictive and perhaps of a lower skill ceiling. Her electric tree is only good when using electric weapons, and her Anarchy style shuts her out of using some weapons, like sniper rifles and to some extent rocket launchers. I wouldn't recommend her unless you just want to plow through content.
Maya is focused around Team support. She is able to heal teammates, revive, and constantly do elemental DoT's and slag enemies with the right build, but she can also do tons of damage if set up right
Zer0 is more or less, a 1-on-1 person, he focuses on doing burst DPS on a single enemy if his melee build is used. His sniping tree is pretty good, but somewhat tricky to use
Axton is mainly Support. His turrets early on can kill very easily, but in later levels, they are nothing but a distraction to escape tougher enemies
These are just my opinions however
Sal is a lot of fun. You can level him up fast and run through guns blazing. He is a nice relaxed character. Once leveled he can help farm gear for your later characters because of his ability to kill bosses easily. His super speed that you can get and the rocket jumping is also quite fun.
I would highly recommend zero as a character to play once you have gotten to or played through some UVHM. Zero is stupidly fun, but stupidly frustrating if you don't have all your mechanics down pat.
