No, there is no storage. You will always pay a percentage after dying.

If u have a friend that u trust to trade it then you can make a bank character to hold it

It's probably better to make a mental effort to not care about money =) Just find a farming boss/area that you can do easily, and whenever in need just farm it and sell loot. For example, Thousand Cuts with quest "Rocko's modern strife" active gives you an area with several loot chests and zero* enemies. * - loot midgets, one-armed bandits and loot goliaths are still a probability.
