How can i alter skill points with gibbed?
title, saw in a video that some speedrunners use maxed skill trees and wanted to see how a character like that plays, but even after setting the points that i need in gibbed the game will correct them back when loading, how do i get around that?

The game does some very simple sanity-checks when loading a savefile, so not everything you configure will be valid and the game corrects that.
I my self don't really use mods in BL2 so take it for what it is - either mod the game or use soemthing like cheatengine to change it when it is running.

I figured it out, inside gibbed, at the [RAW] tab, near the bottom of that section, there is an entry called "SkillData (Collection)" and when you click it you can manually set the value of each skill in every tree, bypassing the skill point validation that the game does internally when loading, i was able to try out Axton with maxed skill trees this way.

Hope you made a backup first.

Anytime you change anything with Gibbed, you should make a manual backup of your entire save folder first.
