Why Commander Lilith DLC isn't on sale?
I own everything except that DLC. The entire franchise is on sale except for that. Why? And why it isn't included in the packs at least? Can't wrap my head around that...

It might have something to do with the fact that it was totally free for an entire month when it was first released.

2K is greedy. Simple as that. It is priced the same as their later games. They have made it an essential part of the game so you need it to reach the new game cap of 80.
It is sort of a Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack #3. With a lot more.

It cannot be included in any of the other packs because their contents were fixed on release, many years ago, so cannot be added to.

The DLC contains a lot. New enemies, maps, missions, bosses and a whole new class of weapons - Effervescent AKA Rainbow. They are based on earlier pearlescents and legendary but with limited parts options. Some are a bit meh, but others kick serious butt.

Like the game? You do need the DLC and the 8 extra skill points do make for some interesting build options at 80.

Yeah, it still baffles me how every single piece of content for the game is on sale except for that one. Anyway, I saw it sometimes goes on sale for about 5€, I will get it then eventually.

Well, that's kind of the point.

Every other piece goes on sale at once (because it's all bundled into the Handsome Collection). Commander Lilith is the (relatively) new piece. By putting the older content on sale, but NOT putting the newer piece on sale, 2K thinks they can drive the full price sales of that newer piece.

And ... it probably works, at least to some extent. Or they wouldn't keep doing it that way.

Right now on steam bl3 has 4500 players tiny tina has 1500 2k has to make up the revenue loss somewhere

The Handsome-collection was created many years ago and included everything that was released up to that point - and back then BL2 was actually finished and there were no further DLCs or any other content planned.

Until they went for BL3 and thought it was a great idea to create a DLC as BL3 advertisment - and make it free for a limited time.
Well, it worked - more people played BL2 back when Lilith was released for quite some time there were more players then BL3 had right after launch.

But after that time it became the most expensive Borderlands-DLC that was ever released up to that point in time (Until BL3 took that dishonerable first spot).

2K could add it if they wanted - but they of course won't.

The Lilith dlc is great. It was initially free and was provided partly as an advert for BL3. You could tell that it started as another dlc from years ago but one that had got put on the back burner, hence the name of one of the maps being called just that. I'd rate it as worse than Tina and Torgues, about the same as pirates booty but much better than Hammerlock's hunt.

Imo it's worth buying. Whether you get it on or outwith a sale is up to you. But it's good.

It's not on sale because they want people who bought the GOTY package years ago to boycott their company and refuse to ever buy anything from them again. At least, that's what I'm assuming based on my own reaction to its very existence... even though I could buy the Handsome collection for $9 and get the prequel, all of its DLCs and this one I'm refusing to on principle. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ greedy bastards need to stop creating all-inclusive packages and then adding more paid content that they specifically don't include in those all-inclusive packages. Of course they won't, but they won't get my money this way ever again.

they get a lot of money from fanboys who cant help but want to upgrade to the new level cap and content, specially since a lot of people already got the dlc when it was free so people who didnt want it even more, just to be on the same level as the others.
