What's wrong with DLCs?
What's wrong with DLCs? Why I can't buy Borderlands 2: Headhunter 4 and Borderlands 2: Headhunter 5? I have borderlands 2! Why I must have russian borderlands 2?

Your transaction failed because you are trying to buy 'Borderlands 2: Headhunter 4: Wedding Day Massacre' which requires ownership of 'Borderlands 2 RU'. Please correct the error and try again.

Try again later, and if it doesn't work you probably have to contact Steam support, which will take like 5 days probably...lol

I'm pretty sure this doesn't ahve a region lock on it, but who knows. If you bought BL2 from the steam store it definitely doesn't since you are in Russia. Unless you bought it from somewhere else and it is the NA version, but I thought this game was region free. :/
Bones Apr 20, 2014 @ 8:18am
No this game is not region free
Smokey Apr 20, 2014 @ 8:59am
did you buy the game here on steam?
Evelilyt Apr 20, 2014 @ 10:58am
I know game is not region free. I'm from Ukraine)) I own english version of Borderlands. I got it from my friend as a gift. He bought it not from steam. I play Borderlands 2 and have no problems with another DLCs from season pass, I have problems only with this particular DLCs (Headhunters). I can't buy them (error describer in main post).
My other friend has both game versions - EN & RU. I ordered him this DLC's and he can play this DLC in EN version too.
I tried buy DLC's 5 times :) LOL. The result is the same)))))))

You might have to use a VPN.
trukr Apr 20, 2014 @ 12:11pm
would changing the download region (to somewhere in NA work I wonder?
Evelilyt Apr 20, 2014 @ 12:23pm
I changed my download region, nothing has changed, error is still the same(
If I use VPN for purchasing will I always need it for playing? If the answer is yes, it would be very bad(

Damn, I can't even find Borderlands 2 RU in the steam market. Only Borderlands 2... And steam support hasn't answered me yet. Waiting for a mirracle)))

OK, I am fresh outa ideas, other than getting them on a none steam site to get the EN versions to go with your EN BL2.
Evelilyt Apr 20, 2014 @ 12:42pm
I think the problem, would be the same. Half an hour ago my friend bought for me headhunter 4. Now I have it as item in my inventory, I can't add it to my games library for the same reason - I need Borderlands 2 RU!)
It drives my crazy))) :scythe:

OK, follow me here, if your friend is in the RU region and bought it for you on Steam, then you got the RU version of the Headhunter pack, what I was saying is if you have the EN nersion of BL, get the Headhunter pack some where other than Steam, GMG etc, find one listed as EN version is what I was trying to say.

You shouldn't need the VPN to play, but why would it be bad if you did?
trukr Apr 20, 2014 @ 1:05pm
Yes, you are where the RU version is used, so, if you try to buy it on Steam it will BE the RU version and will not work with the EN you have. I was saying do NOT buy the DLC from Steam but from another site listing the DLC as EN so it will match up with your game. How did your get you game? DLC needs to be obtained the same way. :vaultkey:

Hate third party programs... And it slowed my internet connection a lot...

I thought there is a two versions of games on steam:
1. CIS/RU
2. Region free

I have few games region free and don't have any problems... My borderlands is region free
