I cannot get to the 4th letter in the mines of Avarice does anyone know how to get to this spot on the map that is like in the middle of nothing

the 4th letter I have done this before but all the gates are locked and I can't travel anywhere. I did the part where you jump on those moving rocks over the lava. I don't remember if I did the cube puzzle yet I have not used this character in a while

you do the puzzle cube then leave and turn left fight 2 rock golems then drop thru the hole in platform to confront greedtooth and the golden golem

That is the thing I fought greedtooth and killed him and I had to do something so I saved and exited but now I can't get back

the first letter is with claptrap the 2nd is the jumping puzzle the 3rd is puzzle cube and 4th is greedtooth, if you only have 3 you missed one

You say that you've fought Greedtooth, but your screenshot indicates that you haven't even been to his area yet (that part of the map is not filled in). The marker indicates that that's where you need to go next. If you really can't get there, then maybe it is a glitch. But are you sure that you're following the right path? You can't get there by going through the middle area (blank in your screenshot). You have to go the long way around. Well, technically, you can get through that middle section using grenade jumps, but normally you have to go around.

can you get back to the puzzle cube? just follow prev instuctions to get to greedtooth

You shouldn't need to go through that area to get to Greedtooth, but to answer your question ...

The best kind of grenade for jumping is a plain grenade. :-) Don't use any grenade mod, so that you just get a plain grenade with no special features that either do extra damage, or make the grenade unpredictable.

It takes 3 separate grenade jumps to get through there. Here's a video that I found:
