Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold?

Saw in these discussions that one way to make UVHM a little more bareable is to get a bee shield and an unkempt harold. So I spent two days farming Pyro Pete's bar brawl and as soon as I had enough tokens I was lucky enough to go to the machine and the Double Penetrating version was for sale.

I spent all my time finding out how to get a good gun but didn't notice WHICH harold I should go for. Is this the decent one to get or should I keep farming and get another?

Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold is the strongest variant as far as i know. Good job! :D

If dps is your goal the dpuh is what you want but I prefer the crammed harold for killing weaker enemies because of the larger mag size and it uses a lot less ammo. Any version of the harold will take out any enemy with or without the bee.

Farming Savage Lee in Three Horns Divide offline is quicker to get an Unkempt Harold. I usually get one in 15-20 tries, which is less than an hour. Farming offline is quicker than online, if you play alone. But this method does not guarantee which version of UH. :)

DP version is a beast and very good for Mechromancer. Don't think the other classes really need it though. I personally prefer Crammed or Explicit.

Yes, farming offline seems to have a little higher probability than farming online. This has been reported by some other BL2 gamers, not just by me. :)

You obviously haven't seen a hellborn kreig with one of these. Have a legendary torch mod and 5 points in kreigs one skill where it increases his fire rate when his shields are down. You'll be outta ammo in that gun in minutes. +110% Fire rate. Plus, topping that with his other fire rate increasing skill, he'll make guns like that feel like assult smg's.

exactly my point. I prefer a Crammed because I want to kill EVERYONE, not just a few and then run out of bullets.

Yes, Krieg can fire a Harold literally like a submachine gun. By putting maximum points on "Embrace the Pain" and "Elemental Elation".

It's the most overpowering Pistol technic of any character in BL2. It seems more powerful than Salvador's dual-yielding-Harold method. :)

Ok, I just killed some guy in in southern shelf in UVHM and he dropped a DP explicit unkempt harold!!!!
