Missing Mortar target circles
In 2 missions ( Thousand Cuts and the Hyperion Bunker Assault) there are lunar mortars firing at you, and an ally tells you to avoid them by staying out of their target circles.

However, I dont see any such circles.

Anyone knows why and if there is a way to fix it?

I did try to validate files via Steam in case something was missing, and it did indeed redownload 1 file, but that didnt change anything.

It could just be a rendering glitch with your graphics card. They should look like big red target circles that you have to scoot around.

Yea I know, my brother showed me a screenshot, they work fine for him.

It might be a problem with the graphic card, but that would be odd seeing how I have never had any trouble with it, neither in Borderlands 2 nor any other game....

My graphic card is a GeForce GTX 760, so it's definitely a gaming one, too.

Change your setting on Bullet Decals.

Had it on High so far, I'm trying normal now. I'll soon be at the Bunker so I can see if it helps.

Update: It really was because of the Bullet Decal settings, like you said, NewTroll. So thanks a lot.

It's weird though, "High" is supposed to be the better setting. And even weirder, when I changed it back to High it kept working....

I had that same issue for the longest time when I finally did as you did. Cleared it right up. Glad it worked for you also! :borderlands2:

I know this thread is over a year old, but I had the same problem. Turning on bullet decals fixed it.

Yeah, played this on ps3 with the mortar circles showing with normal bullet decals, but with the pc, I realized I haven't put it on high.

I was just asking around about this problem myself. I didn't even know what the circles were supposed to look like, until I saw someone else's Twitch stream of this part of the game.

Thanks for the solution, now I'll know the answer if anyone else encounters this issue.
