Well, it should be 0.008/5*4. 0.008% is the drop chance of any Infinity. /5 because there's five versions (Normal, Fire, Acid, Shock, Slag) and *4 because four of those are elemental. So... 0.0016*4, which is 0.0064. So the chance of any elemental Infinity dropping from Doc Mercy is 0.0064%.

FWIW, there's no slag Infinity, so that alters your calculations a bit.

I have no idea what the actual odds are, but elemental Infinities are fairly rare in my experience.

Pretty sure the drop rate is 0.008% if you are not killing the boss that drops it, It should be 1/30 from doc mercy.

i rarely get an elemental infinity from doc mercy, they drop from loot midgets though

seems like about 70 % of the drops I get from Mercy are nonelemental Rapid prefix. You can incorporate that into your formula.

70%?!?!? YOUR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LUCKY! my bud and I are farming them right now and for a hour now he has 13 and I have 6! he also got 2 to somehow magically shoot into the mountain and glitch away! granted this is also in normal mode not sure if that makes a difference.
