My personal ranking on support (co-op) usefulness:
1. Maya
2. Axton
3. Zero
4. Salvadore
5. Gaige
6. Kreig
commandos also pretty good too for distracting enemies, dish
ing out damage and slagging on ultimate mode if you put it on his turret
She is by far my most favorite class in the game.
My opinion here...but siren is #1 in almost everything in my personal ranking of all the characters.
I also had the most fun with her than any other class but that's just me though. I played all the characters. I liked them all, but not as much as I liked the Siren though (solo or co-op).
oddly, i disagree with this post and believe kreig should be rated a smidge higher. he has an insta-res move and can be used with not great utility but situationally unique. true, that in support sense, hes the support guy who's better off drawing fire and mele range aggro leading from the front of cousre, but he can prevent a whipe in a pinch by sacrificing himself.
I don't care for either Gaige or Krieg in co-op. But the least fun for me is Krieg. Like Gaige with her Anarchy, alot of his damage boosting comes from making kills. So with other players stealing kills it only hurts. Plus it makes Fuel the Rampage much more frustrating to use. Not to mention that co-op revive you mentioned, Redeem the Soul, almost always means I'm the one dying instead of the person I could have just Helped Up instead. And if you're only using him as a DPS boost, the other DPS classes (Zero and Salvadore) do just as much damage, while also boosting thier teammates ion some fashion. If I had to play Krieg co-op, I would just hope my partner was a Maya who didn't mind only slagging and reviving me when I go down.
With Gaige, at least her mildly distracting robot is also mildly distracting off teammates too. Still, teammates are such a nuesance with these two characters! Either just slag for me so I don't have to, or just stay completely out of my way.

I spiritually agree with you about kill skills. It did dawn on me a while back the thing I really need to focus my toons on is NOT getting kill skills or becoming too comfortably familiar with them, that way I dont go into a boss fight gimped in my play style and setting myself up for faillure. I have stared quite a bit at Kreig's tress and I really really like the lefthand tree but my god!! its like nearly all kill skills hahah!! except for the stacking of magazine size....I hardly see how that can be so awesome though unless you have some sick fire rate...which ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enough of course ... is a godforsaken kill skill. so I tend to agree with you on this. But, really, even I dont want to use the kinetic reflection thing on maya because its a halfass kill skill, and thats the lens im viewing the game through personally. kill skill = not even considered.
