Amplified Bane
I love this little gun, I just wish the curse was only the sound. The movement speed is just ridiculous. LOL

I don't understand that gun... to me, it's utterly horrendous and I ditch it the moment I get it. What's good about it?

It is a very strong weapon. Like I said about the movement speed, it sucks. I honestly find the talking it does funny as well.

VERY good stats. Almost as good as the B*tch. If you use it in the back of a technical, most of its downsides are nullified.

Bane has increased stats compared to a similar level Hyperion SMG, especially that Damage, but the voice and movement penalty make it novelty at best most of the time. If the movement penalty were half, or even cut, I'd like the gun a lot, the voice isn't the big problem with it x.x

Yeah. Even if you mute the in-game volume, the curse is still active.
KILL ME ALREADY!

I like the sound curse, it's the movement one that kills me lol. Whats the next great weapon to expect?
The Changeling Feb 11, 2014 @ 4:06pm
The Morningstar is another sort-of-cursed weapon. It has great stats and crit boosts for every headshot, but it belittles you and whines whenever you reload, or kill someone.

Can't wait!

When do you get the mission for it?

You wouldn't have to reload if you could shoot better.

Oh, I kinda like the Amplified Bane. Find cover, lay waste, swap weapons, move, swap back, lay waste and then get something that performs as well, stash and stop using LOL

I believe it is after Where Angels Fear To Tread. Could be wrong.

Yeah, Hyperion Contract #1034
ShinkuTear Feb 11, 2014 @ 5:36pm
At the town of Overlook, the bounty board has a mission, Hyperion Contract, where you have to kill, what, 100 Bandits? 4 bonus objectives for 25 kills with Fire, Shock, Corrosive, and Explosive damage. DoT kills are just as valid for the Bonus Objectives as bullet damage kills, so long as the element is right :)

100 Bandits seems like a slow grind, until you realize *any* place with bandits is valid, and then you warp to... Lynchwood was it? The "Wild West" style town, with the Sheriff and all that. Place is filled with Bandits, makes the Contract nice and easy :)
