I have the mission "Every once in a while, a Goliath gets a good idea." undiscovered in the fridge. I've looked it up and it depends on a Goliath being at a certain point in the Fridge. I've gone there ans searched around a dozen times now. Nothing but rats ...

This is my 2nd to last mission to finish up before I get the "Did it all," achievement.

Does anyone know what could make him not spawn? Did I miss some prerequisite? Does he spawn somewhere else on the map besides under the broken bridge next to the doors after all the cars?

According to the Wiki, you have to complete "Bright Lights, Flying City" and "The Cold Shoulder" (from Scooter) before he'll show up. If you've done those, then maybe you're just having some bad luck, because I _think_ the goliath is a random spawn and isn't always there.

You can find a guaranteed Goliath spawn next to where the large Crystalisks spawn. Go down the path toward the Crystalisks but don't engage them, instead engage the Rats in the area with a large door and various boxes. When you've killed a wave of Rats or two, a Goliath will spawn who will drop the necessary quest starter item. If he doesn't drop it, simply fast travel out of the zone and back in for all the enemies to respawn.

I finally got him to spawn. He came out of the doors under the broken bridge where I thought he would. I guess I just have bad luck.

This thread is over 2 years old. One person has since been banned from the forums, and the rest probably either don't play Borderlands 2 anymore or have at least forgotten that this thread exists.

The door is at the start of the fridge on the left up some steps. The door will not open until you confront laney white from a mission for scooter and yes this is an old thread.

You have to do the mission "A Cold Shoulder" from Scooter for the entire level to be open. It was the first response in this thread. Please learn how to read.
