I found Hellborn/Mania Kreig, extremely fun to play. You survive great, it's always...madness! He's just all around fun to play. Salavador may be the most op but Kreig is very fun to play as!

Depends on your definition of "Fun!"

Personally I find Salvadore completely boring even though he's by far the easiest to play. But that is why I can't stand to play him. I prefer to actually play the game as an action game and not just stroll through the game like a point-n-click adventure game.

Kreig has the best survivability if you can grasp his particular playstyles. I can't, so I just play him because he's extremely fun.

Zero is the absolute best damage-dealer in the game, but again takes a certain playstyle to master. I personally suck at Zero more than any other character.

Axton is the most well-balanced character in the game. He doesn't really have any strong points like those mentioned above, but he also doesn't have any real weaknesses.

Maya can be devastating in certain situations, yet lacking in others. For co-op there's none better to have in the party, but for solo she's a tough choice to run through. She can be fun though so...

Finally we have Gaige who is a strong early game character, especially solo. Late game she's much more limited though on what she can do. She will remain powerful in some situations but very slow-going in others. Most her early game strengths fall short in the end, but if played a certain way she can still deliver tons of pain to those who get in her way. She is by far my favorite character, and as such she is the most powerful and fun character to me.

But you are not me so it's best to just find out for yourself.

Salvador, no if, buts or ands about it. Sal can deal damage and heal at the same time with best efficiency, that's why he is the most reliable class against bosses. Against grunts some other classes are even more effective or less risky, in my opinion, but he is still a beast in those situations.

I have played solo with the six classes, all 72, except Axton, I fin't if really boring, Sal OP8 and all raid bosses solo.

How is anyone but you to know? If you just want to dominate stuff, Salvador may be for you at those levels, insane. Think about your play style, look at some youtube stull, do some guide reading. I think they all have some good points. Just play the game already, try them.

the most fun I have ever had was with a Lv50 zerker, dual weilding infinity pistols, legendary terramorphis mod with a depleted fabled tortoise. you just invest in movement, damage, money shot and suddenly you run circles around a boss and you sound like buzz light year. Though I think they patched out the unending moneyshots on infinity pistol it still sounds like a hell of a lot of fun at 72 with all the extra skill points you'll have. on top of that you can gain massive health regen just from the gunzerking and double slag transfusion nades increase your regen and damage all the more. I haven't had a chance to play with a high level gaige or krieg yet and I've heard good things about both.

I tried a Hellborn Krieg/Mania and even the bloodsplosion variant.

While is he good at surviving.. I can't stand the amount of kill skills he has. I hate kill skills. Very situational.

Not to mention, constant flashing bright lights from Flame of the Firehawk makes my eyes go @_@....

Zer0 is the coolest character imo, still very potent with guns at OP8, very powerful with melee but very punishing at the same time.

Sal is limbless easy mode, facerollin stuff.

Krieg is kinda crippled (read: limited) on OP8, some people still like him but i find Mania tree retarded and can't play him anymore.

Axton is good for solo play, 2 players max. Above that his DPS sucks major balls, on the other hand you can make him gamebrakingly tough using turtle shield and Pointman mod cheesy combo.
