Seriously. Zer0 has a whole sniper skill tree for a reason.
anyone want to play or help me level up?
Now I made another Zer0 recently and I'm delighted at how easy NVHM is. If you're good at shooting things in the face/weakspots, you should have Zero trouble. Sniper takes care of most things, corrosive pistol/shotgun takes care of anything else. I went all in on the Sniper tree from the start. Sure I had a death here and there, but nothing crazy. Cleared all 3 arena's without trouble as well.
Using cover and using your ability well are definitely important things.
Or better yet, do what you want with your game.
That timeframe is actually really fun to play zero in. Until you hit UVHM and you have to slag everything. But other than that, just do sniper skill tree.
Maybe try to be less of a ♥♥♥♥ while commenting. What other people do with their own games shouldnt concern you. This is primarily a single player game, not a multiplayer game. The fact that you have gotten ass-mad over the years for people asking on how to modify their gaming experience to be somewhat different than yours is incredibly immature of you.
Newsflash: Not everyone likes the things you do, and not everyone likes to play the games you do. World doesnt revolve around you, narc.
If you think im brain damaged, then I pity the foolishness that you pride as intellect in your attempt to assert some degree of superiority over me. Stupid and vain people generally tend to do that, and I doubt you are short of either.
The fact that you've been in this forum trying to make this place a miserable place doesn't indicate that you're an amused person. It just indicates to me that you are devoid of a life and instead of trying to fix it, you lash out at others on a gaming site, which is about as influential as a pebble in a hurricane.
Seeing as how I'm a graduate student that just finished two-four year degrees (in less than 3 years) in statistics and applied mathematics, enjoying an apartment that I'm renting with the stipend that I got from my university for doing research, while making my own meals.... your assertion is hilariously off-base, as you clearly don't know a thing about me.
Personally, I think it's just projection on your end.
Funny thing too. The difference between us is that in 5 years, I'll be done with my phd, and you'll still be making the forum a miserable place for newbies who want to play the game their own way.
Kinda pathetic of you, don't you think?
The purpose of tough love is to try to wake someone up to "the real world". Video games aren't the real world kid. Video games are meant to be played and enjoyed how one wishes to play/enjoy them especially if it's a single player game.
If someone's trying to force you to play a certain way, or starts demeaning you for playing a certain way, they aren't showing you "tough love", they're just being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unduly.
I started my first playthrough recently and chose Zero basically on a whim. I started off with sniping but realised it isn't fun to play the game that way all the time. Was having a bit of difficulty with him not being able to heal effectively and my inability to eat bullets and run around like a maniac in general.
After some research I learned that I had picked what's been described as the most difficult character to play. I took some time a review my approach and haven't really had any problems since then (approaching UVHM now).
Some things I did were: picking the largest capacity shield at all times (sounds obvious but I was messing around with amp shields, spike shields etc), equipping a relic that boosts health or shield capacity, always having a rocket launcher equipped for FFYL, never doing any missions I was under-levelled for, and re-speccing my skills + taking the time to read and understand them.
As far as skills go, Innervate allows you to regain health when you use Deception and Grim allows you to regenerate shield when you get a kill, so I'd recommend both of those if you're feeling squishy. While Zero has no shortage of offensive skills, I'm a huge fan of Death Mark + Death Blossom which allow you to get tougher enemies out of the picture drastically faster and negate a lot of the damage.
Zero isnt a support character. There's nothing about his skill tree that even resembles a support character.
