The higher your level, the harder enemies are to kill.

The closest it gets to 1 Shot is, actually, 2 Shot, because players can not be killed in 1 hit by any enemy.

depends on your gear, and skill set up. 1 shotting is possible at highest lvl

With the level 59 Siren, no. One shot kills nothing, I have the flying SMG, but I don't have a good bee shield. But, you can kill enemies at long range with multiple phaselocks to conserve ammo.

1 shots are phisically impossible. As a lv30~ gunzerker I tanked a lvl 50 raid boss (terramorphous) for my friend and I did not die a single time because when your health is above a certain % a mechanic prevents you from dying and I stacked maximum health regen.

lol, more like the opposite

Unless you're using a certain gimmick or you're revolving your character around a certain skill which either takes time to "build up" (i.e. Money Shot) or you just have to get lucky with in certain situations (i.e. B0re), you can NOT one shot any enemy in this game around your same level. With certain gear and a bit of time and skill you can feel like you're breezing through certain areas though (i.e. Full Anarchy Gaige abusing The Bee (meh).)

It is also impossible for an enemy to one shot you but they can come extremely close. So close in fact that any splash damage from that one shot might just kill you anyways. At higher level this is much, much more likely to happen.
