Borderlands 2 won't launch on windows 10? (fixed)

For some odd reason, my borderlands 2 will not launch on windows 10. Everytime I try to launch it my icon turns green then back to blue again. Is anyone else having this problem? And if not can anyone help me fix it?

i just upgraded and it works fine maybe you need to upgrade your gpu with latest drivers

Nevermind found the issue to my problems. Turned off compatability mode. Thanks for everyone who tried to help however.

Not Sure why u have problems. I did a clean Windows 10 Installation and the game works since then.

Just posting here for any folks still having issues. I have no idea what was causing Borderlands 2 to not load. I was having the same problem with XCOM as well. I ended up giving up, and nuking everything from orbit - I did a clean install of Windows 10, not keeping anything. Now I can load both games just fine. So I think it had to do something with keeping your files and all that when upgrading to Windows 10, something in there wasn't communicating with something it should have been, I dunno. Good luck!

Hey. Had same problems after switching from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Everything above did not fix the problem for me, What is quite simple but some might not think about it (like me) is to download Steam installer and install t as Windows 10 doesn't 'see' it installed. There is no need to download games as installer will auto find where u had Steam installed before. It will first delete some files and my guess is that files were causing the problem. Hope this works for all of You also! Take care! :)
