And sure, I can play uvhm because I beat the Warrior, but why the hell do weapons not scale in uvhm? They are all like 48-50.
If you continue in TVHM, nothing you find will be higher than 50, because TVHM is capped at this level.
I would suggest carrying on in UVHM if you want to progress. There really isn't much point in carrying on in TVHM once you have completed the story mission. I see from your profile that you are at least level 50 and the longer you delay doing UVHM, the harder you will find it.
In UVHM, the enemies scale to you. So if you start when you are level 55 say, the enemies will all be 55 or higher. Because your weapons were capped at level 50 in TVHM, you will be underpowered, and find things hard going.
Seriously, don't worry about the odd side missions in TVHM. The longer you leave it to start UVHM, the harder you will find it.
