Humble bundle / steam issues - borderlands 2 DLC

I bought the borderlands humble bundle and paid the minimum I redeemed the first borderlands 2 code which worked and it downloaded, I booted up played it and then decided that I wanted to redeem the other code in which I got the error "please activate the original game" I have and I've played it yet every time I've entered the code it comes up - I don't I so what to do? Any ideas ? Anyone had a similar issue ?

Have you by any chance accidentally tried to redeem borderland 1 DLC codes?

No I haven't as yet I skipped and done the borderlands 2 code then tries to redeem the borderlands 2 DLC then it just didn't work

This is what I have tried to redeem
Borderlands 2 DLCs: Headhunter 1: Bloody Harvest, Headhunter 2: Wattle Gobbler, Headhunter 3: Mercenary Day, Headhunter 4: Wedding Day Massacre
Borderlands DLC: Claptrap's Robot Revolution

But it brings me the error - please activate the original game in which I already have :(

Same problem here, i paid 15$ to obtain all the stuff. I was able to activate everything and last week the last part of the bundle came ( the Headhunter 1~4 part) and this is the only one the got the error. Sorry for bad english, hoping for a solution here as well. :s

sounds like a possible library sync issue. i'd close steam completely, optionally reboot computer, and retry opening steam and activating the keys. Also, a screenshot of the "downloadable content" within the game might be good reference point.

Also for me the same problem with the Headhunter & Claptrap's Robot Revolution DLCs activation.
I'm on a Mac butI saw that Claptrap's Robot Revolution DLC is available inly for Windows, could be this the reason why the key is not working?

Same problem here with the DLC. I downloaded Borderlands 2 just fine but the extra DLC won't load.

Do you have BL1? If you don't, then you will have to download it to get the BL2 dlcs since the code you tried to enter includes a BL1 dlc.

You have to downlaod Borderlands 1 and 2 just in order to get the DLC for 2 to download? The ♥♥♥♥?

You have to activate the base game codes including bl1 before activating the DLC codes

Ok thanks for your comments guys I will look at doing the bordelands 1 now and try it

Tried it and it worked! thanks, you do have to download everything for the DLC to work.
