how good is the Jakobs Striker??

had found this legendary shotgun after killing a loot midget in Sawtooth Cauldron (originally went there to finish a thresher challenge), and it actually more accurate the same weapon from the original "Borderlands" (which itself almost had sniper-like precision), and works pretty good as a hunter's weapon in the Hammerlock DLC. And according to Borderlands Wikia, it mentions that Zero can make excellent usage of it.

So i'm asking the other players who used the same weapon, about what they thought of it.

Well, it is one of the best weapons for Gaige - builds Anarchy fast on one hand, and is pretty good by itself while it builds. Easy to farm new versions in UVHM - drops from Old Slappy. For Zero... Well, I used it somewhat, against Buzzards - it worked good, but not exceptional. Maybe it is different when used against ground targets, but I just melee them, so wouldn't know =)

well the version of the Striker I got comes with an attached blade for the bonus melee damage

The striker is one of my favorite shotguns. If you get one on like TVHM, you can use two shots and then a melee attack to finish your enemy. If you have fast hands and 0ne shot 0ne kill skill, it's a very effective gun. That being said, it's like most other jakobs shotguns in its operation.

Great at long range. Surprising what you can hit at a distance, and get criticals as well. Useful towards the shotgun sniper badass challenge. My siren got hers from old slappy, and has been using that as her default shotgun pretty much since then.
Apart from that, I collect pretty Jakobs guns, and it is a good looking gun.

well I sniped at a few Drifters in the Hammerlock DLC with it, and I swear one of the shots made a Drifter fly as it died
