Borderlands 2 Content purchased but not downloaded.... still.

I just bought the Borderlands 2 Game of the Year from the Steam sale, in the description, it tells me that I get 10 items: Borderlands 2, Borderlands 2 - Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, Borderlands 2 - Psycho Pack, Borderlands 2: Collector's Edition Pack, Borderlands 2: Creature Slaughterdome, Borderlands 2: Mechromancer Pack, Borderlands 2: Mr. Torgue’s ect ect ect..... ok after I have been playing for a week or two, I noticed that in my games on my account and also in the Steam icon on my task bar, it tells me that I have content that has been purchased, but not downloaded. I have tried the usual stuff like checking and verifying the integrity of my game cache, I think that this worked, but for only one thing? still not sure about that? I have also heard that another way to see if the download has been successful is "is to go to any travel station and look for the new Digistruct Peak location towards the top of the map in The Dust area just below Hero's Pass". mine is not there. Too be honest, I wont be buying anymore games from Steam, if they don't even give you what you have paid for, I know that this problem has been going on for more than 2 years and still no fix from them.

You can check from the in-game menu what DLC you have purchased and what is installed, when you select the DLC it should say "installed" in green on top right.

Digistruct Peak does not show up because that DLC does not come with GOTY Edition. It comes with Upgrade pack 2. On installing the DLC, right click the game in your Library > Properties > DLC > Make sure they are all ticked > OK > Go to downloads and make sure they are downloading > Launch the game.

Thanks for the replies. Abacab i did go to the in-game menu, most of the things say that they are installed, but the Creature Dome, premiere club and Borderlands 2 collectors edition, all say they they are purchased, but not installed. At the start of the game, i did not get the gear that comes with the premiere club (golden guns ect) I also have the Borderlands 2 unused prorder DCL 1,2 and 3 that show up in the Steam launcher at the bottom of my task bar, i tried running these, and i get an error from them all?

I just checked out my download content for this game, everything is ticked and it tells me that they are all installed.

Keep in mind some of the dlcs will show as purchased only, that doesnt mean you dont have them, its simply because they are alredy installed in the game core, 1 example is the creature dome, it shows as not installed, purchased only, but yet you got access to it
Try to get inside the creature dome on the wildlife exploration reserve, that way you will really know if you got them or not

That makes sense, i will try that, still does not explain the Premiere club? maybe i will just have to live without it, i am quite a way though the game now, it might have benifitted me at the start, but i have 42 golden keys, so getting some useful guns is not an issue, its just put me off buying games from Steam. I was reading a lot of posts about this problem and it has been going on since the launched the game, thats years ago.

Well gage mech pack is incluided in the premiere, so technically you got some of it :P
Anyways the golden guns are lvl 3, they used to give you some help at the start....for 5 minutes, before you throw them away for the first weapon you find(you only get them once, not every character)

I think that i got everything that counts, all the DLC is there, thats the main thing, i just wondered why it was not installing, steam is a bit hit and miss sometimes, i did write to them, but they never answer LOL. Thanks for all the help.

Belmut is correct, creature dome doesn't show as installed for me, neither does premier club or collector's edition and i GOTY.

A lot of people are saying the same thing, i understand what Belmut is saying about the Creature dome, but the others are saying installed.... then they say purchased but not downloaded, then downloaded but not installed, its a bit mental.

I just googled it and its been asked a few times, apparently some of the smaller dlc will not say "downloaded" as its not, its just unlocked in the game, so a download is not necessary, but it is confusing.
