dude, there is more content in this game than the main story 3 times over. Play through, get to about level 30, start a TVHM game, get to 50, start a UVHM game whenn you hit 62, and you will see how much content is in this game, if you have the DLC or complete edition. Somtimes I think there is as much content as a Bethesda game.

I never paid attention to the numbers, so 15 doesn't mean anything to me. What's your current story mission?

quick breakdown of the DLC's

all the skinsare cosmetic and unless you care, really pointless

the 4 main DLC

tiny tina's -- a must have

Mr. torgue's -- fun as heck

Big Game Hunt -- a toss up. Some like it, some do not. I am in the like it camp

Scarlet's Treasure -- has some of the best raid bosses to farm stuffs, and seraph items are OP if you get the right ones

rest of the DLC

mechromancer character - a strong character with a great robot

krieg character - a melee focused character that makes things go BOOM

slaughter dome -- just adds another raid dome with a decent launcher at the end

collectors edition -- special skins and golden guns to start off every playthrough, good for a head start

headhunter 1 through 5, these are small DLC's, but fun and very unique compared to the rest.

Upgrade packs 1 and 2, both add 11 levels more and with both, level cap raises from 50 to 72. Woith one, the upgrade cap is 62. Also gives access to the UVHM mode, ultimate vault hunter mode

IMO, just buy the complete edition it is definately worth it and alot cheaper than buying everything individually

difficulty modes

normal - standard difficulty and almost impossible chance for legendaries to drop from bosses usual level cap around 25 to 30, can go higher but no real point

TVHM - true vault hunter mode - harder difficulty, and standard legendary item drop rate - start after first playthrough and around level 25 to 30 and caps at 50 if you do not have upgrade packs, 62 if you do

UVHM - ultimate vault hunter mode hardest difficulty and unlocked after a TVHM playthrough, only accessible with the Upgrade pack DLC's and should only be started at lvel 62 and up. Gives access to best loot chances and the maximum level of OP8 is now accessible.

My new character happened to be on the same mission. Chapter 15 is Where Angels Fear To Thread. That's like 80% of the story.

The main story is only a fraction of the gameplay. The sidequests make for much of the game, including quite a bit of character development.

True Vault Hunter Mode - second playthrough
Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode - third playthrough

TVHM and UVHM have the same missions, but at a higher level, and the enemies are tougher (eg. have more health).

When you complete the last story mission in the main game, that unlocks TVHM for that character. After that, you can choose whether to load them in Normal Mode (first playthrough) or TVHM. You can switch between the unlocked modes at will, and your mission progress is saved separately for each mode, so you can, for example, start TVHM, then go back to Normal Mode later to work on any unfinished side missions (although any gear you get there may be too low a level to be really useful to you).

When you complete the last story mission in the main game in TVHM, that unlocks UVHM for that character.
