how good is the Transformer shield???
just picked up this shield in the Wildlife Preserve after killing Pimon (one of the mini-boss Stalkers) and he dropped this shield. the shield itself seemed pretty good for an absorb-type one, and this one grants immunity to electrocution, so I ended up equipping it.

It's just an high-stat absorb shield which recharges when you take shock damage. You can actually charge it yourself with some shock guns, everything that has a AoE shock explosion upon impact will work I think. Thunderball Fists etc.

But nothing special about it beside that. The absorb chance is actually lower than with some purple absorb shields, not to mention the Sham.

well I haven't gotten the Sham shield yet, but I DO have the Thunderball Fists that a buddy of mine gave me.

FWIW, one nice thing about it is that it protects you from surveyor and loader shock attacks. Their shock attacks just recharge the shield (as long as the attacks aren't too powerful).

The shield works great with Maya if your going for a shock build also its handy in the hammerlock campaign up against the last boss cant remember the name.

I like the shield myself . It is the highest absorbition shield I have . No got Sham :( ...

When I picked it up I was like OMG ledgendary! Looked at it and realised Sham was bigger and stronger XD

It's a shame I got no Sham... :( ... oh well , got another DPUH today to ease my pain .

I got both from Savage Lee . The first one dropped (DPUH) after I malayed him with a skullmasher (legendary for a legendary ?) After I ran thru Frostburn I figured what the heck , did the same thing & got the 2nd one . I have yet to play that dlc yet . Soon...

ah, I had gotten the Skullmasher from killing the Son-of-Mothrakk (he's too easy playing as Maya) on the first attempt while completing Mordecai's side-quest for the Trespasser

I got my first one out of a bone pile in the Divide . Area just before you go into the Tundra Express . Ran the pile over & saw the orange , couldn't beleive it ! I always loose all the loot when I kill Mothrakk . Even with physx turned all the way to low . Just watch it fall thru & cry...lol
