Finally killed jack.

Killed Jack and felt good. After all the crap i had to go through to reach that point i wasn't going to let Lilith do the job. Just curious how many players killed him or let Lilith do it.

Most of the time people just kill Jack because they don't know there is an option to let Lilith do it if they wait. If I had to think back to my first time I probably shot Jack without knowing I could wait for an option to let Lilith kill instead, but that was years ago, so I don't even remember such a small detail.

For those of us who are veterans we have pretty much exhausted every combination of choices within the game, and Borderlands isn't about the choices anyway as they don't really do anything. On a technical level, doing optional objectives counts towards a Badass challenge, so it is actually a good idea to let Lilith do it just for +1 in your optional objectives, for faster Badass rank.

I will never let Lilith do it.
She didn't do ♥♥♥♥ for most of the game and is probably the worst part of bl3 and is overall just annoying.

I downloaded the game a couple years ago. Never could get past the early grind. Started to level up and FINALLY said to myself i am going finish this thing. The farther i advanced the more i hated the character. Oh well better late than never.

If you let Lilith kill him, she rips his mask off and you get to see what he looks like under the mask.

Done it both ways. I'd imagine that most people who've played through the game multiple times have at least let Lilith kill him once.

Usually I don't wait for her to get around to it though, listening to Jack rant that long gets old.

I took my time inspecting all of the loot and trying to jump out of the map after killing the boss and she never did it.

letting lilith kill jack is boring. though canonically its most likely the 6 vault hunters let lilith kill jack to honor roland's memory and to have lilith satisfy her revenge. but its boring.

just throw a fastball to his face. unfortunately that'll not make a hilariously huge hole in his face like what tannis requested. also, you can't eat nachos out of his gourd like what ellie requested.

maybe just throw the fastball to his crotch.

i dunno why, fastball is just the funniest grenade ever in b2. its just a 'harm'less baseball with almost no special effects, yet it had HUGE damage power.

or just jump and stomp jack with 1 damage.

also, jack died in a warm place with some hot chick nearby. lulz at the b1.5 retrofitted reference to b2.

I recollect doing him in when the first opportunity arose with a constant hail of crits to his head {'never liked the cut of his jib' LOL). Thereafter, as I best remember it, he forced the vault key into a fitted slot below his console thingy & summoned The Warrior (which was the point of the scene anyway).

you're giving me the idea to use low level hyperion smg to defeat jack in his battle (in uvhm), through millions of hyperion (TM) smg head crits. maybe i'll use a low level legendary btch smg to make it even more lulzy. just to hear jack complains about the crits.

or maybe i'll use the screamtastic bane smg. its a hyperion smg for some reason. maybe its worth it.

A Btch can work, sure. If memory serves me well, I favored an Emperor to work him down & shifted to an Avenger for the kill. Depending on personal tastes, others have successfully used faster-firing snipers & assault rifles on this Jack scene. Have fun
