Borderlands 2: EULA Trouble
I recently today went to play Borderlands with a friend. I clicked play and an EULA popped up. I skim read it and clicked "I Agree". It exited the game and set me back in the games menu in Steam. then I try to click play again and it tries to load but exits out again. I then thought to myself, crap I should have read the whole EULA and went to disscusions on Steam about it. Please help if you can! :steamsad:

The EULA that you saw may have been the one in
steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Documents

Is the real problem that the game won't run? If so ...

Have you played BL2 before on that computer? If so, my first question would be why it decided to show you the EULA.

Have Steam verify the game cache. It's normal for 1 BL2 file to fail.

Try skipping the launcher and running Borderlands2.exe directly.

It's is fixed now, I was running Windows 10 to see if it was any good and it sucks, so I went back to 7, everything ran fine. Thanks though.

FWIW, some people have had problems with the launcher under Win 10, and skipping the launcher fixed it. And if you had mentioned in the first post that you were using Win 10, that would have given us a starting point. Just something to keep in mind for the future.

FWIW2, I've been using Win 10 some (still on a separate test drive) and it has worked great for me, including running BL2 just fine. So it's not completely broken, but some people have had problems with it (like most any other OS :-).

Ok, thanks. I just find Windows 7 a lot easier to use. Been using for many years now. It is hard to make a change once you use something for a while. Glad to see people helping others in discussion.

Truly happy that you are up and running, but I have been running Borderlands 1, 2 and TPS fine on WinBlows 10. I did have an issue with permissions at first but some really smart person posted a fix that got me up and running far easier than what I was doing to fix it. I use the launcher too, no running as admin, just normal.

YMMV.

edit: did you get the Windows 10 GPU driver? And used DDU to remove old one (or was it clean install?) If you upgrade, the 7 drivers as going to be a problem, was for me.
