Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2

View Stats:
Screen flickering
The screen flickers/blacks out repeatedly, making it impossible to play the game.

Win10 x64, GT630M, GeForce 358.50 drivers

The same issue does not appear on the Pre-Sequel, where there's just a few (annoying) frame jitters, and Borderlands 1 is fine.

Interestingly, Darksiders has a similar problem.

Maybe because of your game files?
Verify integrity yet?

It did redownload a file, but it didn't fix the problem. I think it's caused by the new NVIDIA drivers, so I might have to wait until a new version comes out.

Windows 10?
If it is, then the driver is glitchy.

Yep, Win10 x64. Does 358.5 have known problems with Win10?

Maybe

Since you said you are on Windows 10, that's what I'm going to put the blame on. We need to make a PSA to the world, "all gamers; do not get Windows 10!"

Biggest load of rubbish I've ever heard.

Probably graphics drivers, just uninstall them. If you don't know how, there's google

It's probably 358.5, since that seems to be the only commonality between our systems.

found a fix:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/driver_rollback.html

since i have 8.1 i tried to follow the windows 7 method and it works, i hope it works for windows 10 as well

Did rollback fix the flicker issue?

for me, yeah

I'm going to see if the 358.59 hotfix fixes the problem. Will update later.

UPDATE: 358.59 did not fix it.

I'm having this problem too. I tried to rollback my driver but that didn't work either. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Edit: This seems to only be affecting fullscreen. If you are having this issue try running it in either Windowed or Fullscreen Windowed. It should stop the flickering.
