Purchased But Not Installed
I bought the pandora box a bit ago and i realized that a couple of the dlc are showing up as not installed. I tried verifying the game files and seeing if i could download them from the dlc tab in game but I had no luck does anyone know how i can get this fixed without contacting support?
The DLCS I am missing is the 1st ultimate vault hunter, creature dome, premiere club, and collectors edition. Im really just worried about the first two idk what the last two do to the game.

Don't use the in game menu , instead go to your steam library page , right click borderlands 2 , click properties , click DLC , this is the DLC page you should be looking at to see what is installed.

Scroll thru it and make sure everything has a blue checkmark next to it (you can also just click the tab named "Installed" at the top a few times to sort them by installed or uninstalled which can make it easier to find any uninstalled ones), if you find the missing DLC and they do not have a checkmark next to them try clicking where the checkmark should be and it should enable them/download the DLC.

If you don't even see the names of those DLC on the steam DLC section it means for some reason the game doesn't think you own them, in that case you would need to talk to steam support.

Oh one more thing , if you haven't already , try restarting steam or even you pc , sometimes something dumb happens and a file thinks it is still being used by another program during install and so the game can't access it when you try to play.

i tried all of that and non of it worked i contacted steam support before i went into work because they are in my dlc list in the steam properties but dont have a file size so i think there was a hiccup on steams end cause gearbox pretty much told me the same stuff you told me and told me to contact steam if none of their troubleshooting worked. thank you for you response though i appreciate it.

Ignore the file sizes. Most of the DLC files are very small because they are just cosmetics. Some just unlock content that is already in the game, so they have no file size. As long as an item has a checkmark, then you know it is installed.

Just play the game. Right before you leave Clpatrap's place, there is a fast travel station. Try traveling to one of the story DLC locations. If you can go there successfully, then you know that the story DLC is installed and working. Confirming if other DLCs are working is less straightforward, but if you can confirm that story DLCs are working, then you know that the checkmarks in the DLC list should be applied for any item in the list.

As of April 4th 2025, this is still an issue. The Lilith dlc isn't showing up in my game and non of the others. Tried rebooting everything and it's not f-cking working. Randy B:Y:tchford needs to make a patch asap. It's funny how the console version of the game works flawless but PC gets the :shit: end of the stick from 2K. I wanted to play borderlands 2 on pc with all dlc installed and not to mention the shift codes i redeemed are not appearing in either the new u stations nor when u start a new game. How fix? I've uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing is working. :angry_seagull:
Is there a phone number I can call to valve and say I'm not getting all of my content I am paying for? Or an email. I would prefer to talk to an actual person preferably. If Borderlands 2 is gonna be this buggy then 2K needs to remove it from the store front and place a warning that this game does not work regardless of fixes.

Yet consoles use which OS and PC's .. and all the other useless software people use that cause conflicts...

NA PC's will not have issues~

LEARN HARDWARE! and what not to use on PC! Then will be more stable than any "BOX"!

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
