UCP x BL2fix
Hello?

Is this possible for those mods to be compatible each other AND active in multiplayer?

It actually only works for the host player, not the invited one...

Eventually i can get rid of bl2fix as it looks a bit less interesting than ucp... I already know lvl 70/80 mod exists as standalone, so maybe it's the same about multiple ammo at once?

Anyway... if it's possible for them to work together, multiplayer side... I do have python sdk, i do have textmodloader... I already have merged ucp + red text explainer...

I then add the patch into the sdk mods folder inside binaries parent...

I checked the "how to" with BCLMM unchecked boxes for ucp/fix to be compatible...

But maybe i made something wrong?

PS: also, pls guys, can you tell me why bl2fix allow lvl 70 and 80? cause it's already available with latest dlc... Or maybe it was made for the no-dlc people? Or maybe that setting is not to give access to lvl max? i haven't reach the very end yet since i recently returned to BL2.

I don't recommend trying to merge UCP with other mods unless you know what you are doing (open BLCMM ,load UCP , Import the other mod , check for conflicts and resolve them and save it as a .txt file) even if you know how to do that it's just easier to play a mod that has UCP built in instead.

For multiplayer mods , BL2 reborn mod works nicely, only the host needs it and it includes UCP changes , make sure you run it first then host the game. Borderlands 2.5 also works in coop same as reborn and also has UCP tweaks built in , both are slightly different so check them out on nexus below to see what you prefer.

  • Borderlands 2 reborn https://www.nexusmods.com/borderlands2/mods/115

  • Borderlands 2.5 mod https://www.nexusmods.com/borderlands2/mods/235

(don't mix overhaul mods with other overhaul mods , like Reborn with Exodus or 2.5 but mods like loot beams or red text explainer or other mods work fine but you will need to make a combined BLCMM merged patch yourself

  • Exodus SDK is probably my favorite of all the overhaul mods but it is single player only

https://www.nexusmods.com/borderlands2/mods/257 (like before , don't mix with UCP or other overhaul mods but you can mix it with other BLCM mods like loot beams , red text explainer , better sanctuary shooting range etc it's easier to do on SDK mods , just put those BLCM mods in the Z_mod folder inside of the exodus SDK mod folder like it explains on the page no need to make a merged mod just throw them all in the same folder)
Not sure what you mean about BL2fix allowing level 70 and 80 , it's made to work with level 72 OP8 (72 + op8 = 80) which means it's not up to date with the the OP10 stuff from commander lillith DLC. One more reason I don't recommend BL2fix or UCP is because they have problems like this from being out dated.

Probably best not to use it, just stick to Reborn or BL 2.5 for multiplayer and Exodus for singleplayer , all of those mods fix bugs , improve things and add quality of life , BL2bugfixes is mostly when you want a vanilla playthru but with a few tweaks.

Oh if you don't know how BLCM mod merging works this video shows you how to combine mods around the 4 minute point https://youtu.be/YOXvKGDp4Bk

Nice. Ty.

What a bit messy to find informations about that. Kinda old now.

That's the first time i'm using mods. I was playing a lot during the release era... But only vanilla.

So i get rid of bl2fix, looks like there's a SDK standalone mod for everything the mod is patching.

Reborn and 2.5 are... Scary :VGRUMPY: i never farmed the game THAT much so i don't really want to learn everything from zero again.

In the end i only merged ucp + ucp red text explainer. (No mentioned incompatibilities...)

Call me crazy but... I always hated the "mystery effect" from the weapons including red text. :MHRISE_Felyne: I know we can get them from the website but... It's a pain to always alt-tab.

Not sure what YOU mean by this? Both of those mods were updated well after the commander lilith DLC, and they work perfectly fine as far as I'm aware.

i know you only trying to help, but there is some erroneus information here.

ucp and bl2fix can be used together but you have to read the instruction the bl2fix nexus page as you have to modify some things, also not all functions works on coop, but most of it does.

as for bl2 reborn, this guy said only the host needs it, thats incorrect, all the players need to use the mod. just so you are aware.
