Legendary sniper class mod

So I've been looking for this for the last few days.
Have been killing tubbies, loot midgets, terramorphous - none seemed to drop it. however, they dropped billions of the hunter class mod..
One of the results on google came up with the idea that this item was removed from the game, and it was rejected..

What IS going on with this class mod? and how can I actually get it?

This doesn't prove anything, but, FWIW, I went hunting tubby skags with a level 53 character yesterday. 6 tubby skags gave me a skin (which I already had), 3 Bunny launchers and 2 Cracked Sash shields.

I may try some more, because I am curious about this. I had a couple of long dry spells yesterday, so just getting those 6 took quite a while, and I was ready to do something else. :-)

So, 10 tubby drops (total) with a level 53 character and 3 with a level 61, and no Legendary class mods, but I got one from the first tubby with a level 72 character. All while doing the same run.

I'm going to stick with what I said before -- The new Legendary class mods don't drop below level 62 (give or take).

If you had some at a lower level, were you playing with other people at the time? Maybe someone dropped them.

Hmm, dunno - maybe the drop rates have been patched. I still remember dropping lots of pearls from the tubbies after UVHM2, then they seemed to stop pearlin around. Still, might be the way you say it is.

It can be checked with cheat engine, probably gonna do that once I get the game downloaded back :)

You may have a point. It's possible the drops were different at some point. Maybe for a time those mods did drop at lower levels.
