Out of body experience scales? [reward]

So guys, the out of body experience will change the lvl of the reward after you turn in? Or will it be always a lvl 14 reward? at lvl 50. And I don't know if I wait to turn in or not D:

in tvhm once you kill warrior around lvl50, all undiscovered missions will be lvl50 when you do them so any mission reward will be lvl50 ie 1340 shield flame of the firehawk chulain heartbreaker etc

^^^ Right, if you don't take the mission until you kill the warrior then it is level 50 as are all missions you have not accepted.

I have a collection of them, I don't really know why, hoarder? but I have the shield as well on mules, stuff I just KNEW I would need to keep, just there, doing nothing LOL If I can find a lvl 50 you can have it.

It doesn't sound like you missed your chance at a level 50 reward. You said the mission was level 14. If so, that's in Normal Mode (the first playthrough). When you finish the main game in Normal Mode, you unlock True Vault Hunter Mode (TVHM), which is the second playthrough. You'll get the chance to do all of the same missions over again in TVHM, but at a higher level.

If you leave that mission unaccepted until you finish the main game in TVHM, you can then accept the mission at level 50 and get a level 50 reward.

You're welcome. It is a lot to absorb, especially if you didn't play "Borderlands 1" (it also had multiple playthroughs).

is there no way to reset the story when you hit max? to go through it at max lvl?

Once you complete the story, go to select character, select that one, select True Vault Hunter, play though at higher difficulty, when finished, do the same to start Ultimate Vault Hunter mode, and hang on, my be a rough ride.

Could do it on another character and place it in the claptrap secret stach thingy.

More or less the same as True/Ult vault hunter but easier I guess.

It's true that you could do the mission with a different character and pass the reward (shield), but it will be a higher level in TVHM and UVHM. And the OP mentioned getting one at level 50, and you won't get a level 50 version in Normal Mode.
