The Sham

I've been grinding the bunker for quite some time now. I have not found the smg yet, but I have found 2 Shams.

I just want to ask, why is The Sham the trash. I find purple shields with 2.3k capacity and The Sham has 873.

It's not like it has a good abaility either, chance to absorb bullets is not that good.

Yea I agree with you. It's not like The Sham has the highest asorb chance which is more than 50% higher than other shields or anything(the amount of sarcasm I put in this sentence). And when you asorb bullets, which is basically all the time, you get ammo back.

True... I may or may not have just actually used it and it may or may not have actually been better then my current shield. Say I may or may not be saying you're right.

You are wrong, the Sham is an awesome shield. It can get up to 94% absorb rate which basically means 94% of the time, bullets cannot hurt you. However, I rate the Bee shield higher nonetheless the sham is still awesome.

Tip: Google 'shamfleeting' to see just how amazing the sham really is.

yes it is. as a matter of fact a month ago into last year, during online co-op i found a 94% chance Sham shield. lvl 24 if I'm correct. I see why so many people on the lower levels are looking for it. it provides a high absorbtion chance which ignores shots fired at most but melee seems to deplete it immediately.6% chance the shield depletes a bit.

It's very effective with Salvador when combining rocket launchers, esp. if one of them happens to be the Topneaa, the Badaboom, or the Norfleet, hence the rootword -fleeting. Very useful for raid bosses and UVHM but very overkill and unnecessary for normal and TVHM.

With my 94% I basically facetank the engineer mobs in the OP8 Hyperion Slaughter with DPUH, explosive relic and Swordsplosion. Just wade in firing. If you go down, theyre so weak and close its a pretty easy revive with DPUH. So, yeah, it's pretty good. Good luck farming a high percentage one.

you got that 94% by farming the BNK3R?

I have know found 4 and all I keep getting is 82%.

There are much better shields than the sham out there, unless you want to bore yourself with shamfleeting lol.

Yes, and a 90%, and many, many of lower percentage. I farm persistently for days on end when I'm after something. Just getting him to drop a sham is hard, getting the quality ones is a whole nother level of despair.

dude the sham is the second best shield in the game behind the bee, yes it wont have a super high capacity, but with such a high absord chance it makes up for it, plus by uvh mode shield capacity means nothing

It is a good shield, but you are forgetting the Antagonist, Blockade, and Rough Rider.
