Is there any mods out there that "fix" Deathtrap?

I was wondering if there is any mod that improves Deathtrap's AI behaviour, primarily his path-finding and recognition of hostiles.

I'm sure this is an old question by now, but I haven't been able to find anything relevant on my own with general searches on teh webz.
