Skag seems like carnivores, and carnivores generally do not taste very good.

I'd say they were omnivores, they seem to eat pretty much anything.

One of the loading screen things says that they eat anything they can, and just throw up whatever they can't digest.

They probably taste like really bad jerky, living off of a diet of garbage and bandits.
