The loot is gooder if you come back and kill it again, the second room opens and don't forget to look behind the waterfall in there.

You can certainly get legendaries in the Treasure Room, and pearlescents in UVHM. Most of the time you won't, but it does happen. If you don't use some kind of "exploit" to farm the room (ie. open the chests more than the 2 times for the missions), then you may never see a legendary there, unless you just get lucky. I've farmed it at times, at different levels. I've gotten 2 legendaries in the same run, and I've gone dozens of runs without any.

The outer chests seem to just be regular red chests, with the same chance for a legendary (or pearl in UVHM) as any other red chest. The inner chests spawn higher quality gear, so they probably have a higher chance for legendaries, but I don't think they spawn pearls. I think I read that somewhere (something about their special loot pool), and I'm pretty sure I've never gotten a pearl from them, but I've gotten several from the outer chests in UVHM.
