Ironsights
I need some help, spare me the accuracy stat talk unless it really does help the situation because I might have missed something. Weapons without holo sights like pistols have misaligned ironsights. Take a revolver for examaple and quikly spam click thje right mouse button. You'll see that the center of the crosshair is way above the ironsights aiming thing. It's a minor thing but is there a mod or something that may fix this? Or am I just stuck with bad ironsights on pistols?

When Aiming down sights, especially revolvers I gotta aim the tip of the ironsight below the head to hit a headshot. Bullets as in most fps games travel or at least start the spray from the tip of the ironsight. In borderlands 2 for some weapons bullets start the spray from way above the tip of the ironsight. In short the ironsight is useless since I gotta aim below their head to hit a headshot.

That is what the crosshair is for.

.. which can't be used if you're going for the Quickdraw challenge.

Note that pistols aren't accurate over longer distances - they're better at close range, so chose your cover carefully or sneak up on someone.

I achieved Pistolero, Quickdraw and Deadeye just by farming the ever-spawning psychos down the lower end of Boom/Bewm, staying low under the cannon's shots and headshotting the pair as they approached.

I found letting them get up close increased my chances of success, but I know what you mean about loosing off a shot at the wall then squinting down the sights didn't always correspond to the same location.

crosshair is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tho. You can be way more accurate with ironsights but they're misaligned

If you dont want to use the mechanics provided that is your thing.

What are you even doing here? I asked for a way to fix a broken system and you're talking gibberish. Hip shooting is not an alternative way to aiming for precision. If you don't know any mods or ways to fix ironsights then idk what you're even doing here.

Are you sure it is the sights, or is it the lower accuracy of them? They shoot a little wild.

I'm not talking about if they're accurate but rather the position of the tip of the ironsight. On revolvers it way below where bullets fire. For example if I position my ironsight on an enemies head. The bullets will go above his head somehow...in every other game it would be a headshot but here they go above it. I know there is the accuracy thing but the spread.. middle of the spread should be on the tip of the ironsight....while it's way above it. In conclusion the tip of the ironsight should be in the center of the crosshair we get while not aiming our weapon. At the moment it's way below the crosshair so if I go for headshots based on the tip I'm not gonna hit anything except maybe 1 lucky bullet that deviates from the spread.

I'm thinking the type of pistol and the accuracy percentage would come in to play. I've had no problems keeping with the alignment before and after R-Mouse, but I've paid very little attention.

I've definitely noticed this. It's been a problem in every game in the franchise as far as I can remember. I'm not aware of any mod to fix it, so I just adjust my aim to compensate when I ADS. I generally avoid guns with no optical sights for that reason.

Yeah, I noticed that anything with a holo or whatever works pretty well. They actually have their stuff aligned but I'll guess I'll just manage.

So - git gud.
If you don't want to listen to the actual working solution - what are you even doing here?
But have fun raging around, trying to troll.
