Melee Zer0: Be Like Water vs Iron Hand

Hello, I am a melee Zer0 player and I wonder what is better: Be like Water or Iron Hand.

I know that IH only is additive, but BLW is useless in Deception.
If someone could give me some advice, I would be very grateful.

also i'm using iron hand, not be like water for the extra straight up melee damage instead of having to gun for it, and have around 12% melee damage from badass rank, so maybe like you say, it leaves them at deaths door with your setup, maybe the few %s i have over you make the difference to a kill :)

please check the edit i made between your post, im not using the same talents and have 12% melee from badass rank :) if it's leaving them low without shooting them, maybe my spec and %'s i have over yours without gunning for extra damage is making the difference

- try with iron hand and 12% from badass rank, if it comes VERY VERY close maybe the %s take it over 1shot :)

That is not the case at all the life left is low but not that low that 15% additive bonus off iron hand will kill. Like I said stay away from forums or learn how to not lie and mis inform people. I have no sympathy for you

Joined game - 1shot multiple super-badass loaders without shooting them at all - every time this guy yells "SLAG" wasnt he saying kunai only slag 1/10? seems to be every time in this lobby or what? gonna go enjoy my game now, not running thru the same map zone for the 3rd time to be told "SLAG" every time when kunai only slag 1/10 times amirite?
and as for the modded bar? 650k melee damage with no roid on a 50% melee pistol seems SOOOOOO MODDED

In the run in with 9 superbadass loaders you died to 6 of them without being able to kill them. Not only did you constantly norfleet spam after dying to every possible enemy in game, you have no grasp at all how melee zero is played. you killed 3 superbadasses with slagged kunai. Not only do the results show that I was right that you can not kill a super badass without slag, it also shows how bad of a player you are. Which I actually found hilarious. Thank you for that. A full kunai volley has 5 kunai bursts, each of which has a low chance to slag, added together if they slag 3/9 enemies I would not say that is proof that it is not a 1/10 chance. Thank you for reminding me that there are players out there as bad as you. This has humbled me and in in fututre posts I will be kinder and more patient. Also thank you for proving me right that you can not kill a superbadass without slag. Or you specifically just not being able to kill superbadasses...."LAG"...lolol joke kid

and the idea of the game we were playing was to 1shot super-badass loaders right? i dont understand the need to go through the motions of meleeing each and every individual loader to make our way to a super-badass
also it was a 2 player game, enemies grow stronger, still 1shotted more than one of them
i saw you fail to oneshot a pwr-loader as soon as i joined the game, knew exactly the kind of bs you'd pull back in discussion though, gonna have to stream or record some ♥♥♥♥ to post here just to see the reply you can make when the evidence is there

Yes you are incorrect. Getting stomped on by a superbadass is not the same thing as being blown up by a barrel. Not being able to even kill basic enemies and claiming to be able to one shot an ultimate badaass. You are a joke. And yes I actually did execute into my own kunai. I have been testing out this new mechanic with melee zero that I discovered but it is well beyond you. If you strip your shield then shoot the ground with a low level corrosive practicable slowhand you will give yourself a low level DoT. This can add an extra 9 seconds onto shield recharge delay which makes the HoT remarkably more useful for general mobbingg as well as getting bosses into killing blow with roid boosted kunai. The possible aplications with this are extensive, you can throw roid boosted kunai, land longer mmf chains, as well as lowering bosses into killing blow range. So forgive me for executing into my own kunai when discovering a game changing mechanic for melee zero. As I told you earlier, you do not understand basic gameplay so I would not expect you to understand. Go back to normal vault hunter mode, you may find it more on your level. And as for the relevance to the original topic, you can not one shot a superbadass enemy without slag so be like wind is better skill to invest in than Iron hand. This is a fact and is not up for debate. xiMallen proved it himself along with his own incompetence. i hope his poor BL2 skills helped you decide which skill to pick up on your way to MMF

Which is fine, but giving people bad advice based from your modded character is not ok. Please stop acting like you haven't modded. You had infinite grenades and you gave me a blue legendary ninja com with a +7 killing blow.

Again, that's fine, but stop giving bad advice to people acting like it's legit.

I gave you the mod because it had been given to me by someone else, i am using the orange mod, and infinate grenades? i have all the black market upgrades and there's pleanty of grenades to pick up from ammo boxes

I don't know why you're so set on lying about this. You told me the dragon's dropped the com and you shot out about 30 chain lightnings in a row. If that's how you want to play then fine, but I keep seeing you on this forum literally bragging about how you can do what others can't and calling people butthurt when they call you out. Play the game how you want, but stop pretending you're this great player when you mod your character.

The point is killing a superbadass or ultibadass in one hit without slag is not a matter of skill. You can be the most skilled BL2 player of all time and you still wont be able to do it. But it's worth pointing out that XiMallen is more on the opposite end of the spectrum. This is a fact is not up for debate. An idiot can try to debate it, but will never provide any proof that it is possible. XiMallen has zero credibility at all trying to spout of irrelevant bs on a thread that is not his own. Be like water is superior to Iron hand at end game because slag is a very useful tool.
