I ask this because through this game, I'm discovering multiple "lewl" pictures of her lying in chests and random bandit camps. Also, from the quests, she seems to have had multiple husbands and slept with alot of men AND women.

3. She puts on a show with everything she does and says

I really doubt you want an essay from me on the decline of civilization on Pandora. Life on Pandora sucks for ordinary civilians, especially women (who are probably a rapidly shrinking minority of the population).

Yes, Moxxi does use her sexuality as a tool to further her own agendas. She's smart, ambitious, cruel, decitful, and keenly aware that there are a lot more physically dangerous people than her running around on Pandora. No, she's not the town ♥♥♥♥♥.

Well I asked because I'm not sure if i should take those aspects of her at face value or maybe theres an underlying purpose that I'm not thinking about. I am asking metaphorically though.

And you have been answered.
She's sort of a celebrity, puts on the act and everything to protect her, in a way. Everyone "knows" Moxxi and probably a lot of bandits would think twice before messing with her.
Also her husbands (at least those that I know of) and girl/boyfriends (that I know of) tend to be powerful or at least influential people on Pandora, further adding to her overall security, if you think about it.

She also lays on the slutty act very thick, but if you pay attention you know that's just an act (mostly). The all-out sexual, over makeupped "Mad Moxxi" is just a persona.

There is so much hilarious dialog in TPS, it's a shame the rest of the game doesn't hold up that well.
Especially the character interactions and the "storytelling" comments that are different in Normal and TVHM modes are fantastic.

Concerning Moxxi, I love it when her fake "High Class" speech mode slips.
Also Nisha's answer to Moxxi having her swear not to tell anyone cracks me up every time.
