question about 'unseen predator'
Hi there.

I have question about 'unseen predator' achievement with Zero character.

My level is 37, so I reset all skill points and poured SP into Bloodshed SP.

BUT, my problem is that, after I activate deception skill, and kill enemies with melee attack,
They were killed and deception skill is over. :(

How can I kill enemies without exiting deception skill?

help me, please.

Thanks in advance.

you will need to have many must fall skill to kill enemies without exiting deception, with execute skill u shouldnt be having any problem with killing without exiting deception.
You need to spec Many Must Fall, the capstone in Bloodshed. With this specced, if you kill an enemy with melee during Deception it prolongs it, which lets you get the achievement. Pick an area where you're sure you can kill plenty of enemies with a single blow, otherwise Deception will end as usual.

Thanks you all.

But, I already selected 'many must fail' skill, the last skill of the Bloodshed.

What's the problem with me? :(

Just chain your melee kills. Not going to be hard with a lot of enemies around but if you have bad gear and (sorry) not enough skill to do it, it's going to be otherwise.

My tips would be go to a lower level area. Like the Southern Shelf or even Claptrap's Place in normal mode. Make sure you kill the enemies with melee damage. Don't fire your guns because it will end Deception even if you kill someone (Many Must Fall or MMF only lengthens Deception duration if you kill enemies with melee). Also, if you have Unforeseen skill, it might interfere with your melee kills because even if enemies got killed with Unforeseen damage, you don't get the extra duration as you have to kill with melee.

Thanks for your advice.

I've tried it in very low area as you told.
And, I didn't even open unforseen skill.

I don't know what's the problem. :(
Thanks again.

It might not be working because you are not killing the enemy in one melee swing. If you hit an enemy with melee, you will leave deception if it does not die. The idea is to get one hit kills.

I know this might seem long, but bear with me. I don't know how familiar you are with the mechanics of playing a melee Zer0, so I'm explaining everything you need to know to help you.

Do the quest in the highlands to get the love thumper shield. If you already have it then youre good to go. If you dont have it, kill stalkers in the area until they randomly drop an echo device triggering the quest. The shield is not neecessary, but it will really help. Any maylay or roid damage shield will do. Arm yourself with a bladed weapon (the law will work fine and is a quest reward that is very easy to get). The level of the bladed weapon does not matter at all, and you will still get full melee damage from it regardless. Get a class mod with melee damage (one that gives points into backstab will also help a lot). An explosive damage elemental relic will also help with the nova from the love thumper, but is not necessary, Strength relics (that offer melee damage) are not worthwhile, as they add a negligible amount of damage based on where they fall in the melee damage formula.

The love thumper has a long recharge delay, so you dont have to worry about stripping your shield again in between kills. This shield will make it easiest for you to do this.

Since it is important to keep your shield down as long as possible for the roid damage bonus, you may also want to turn off your Badass Rank if you have specced into reduced shield recharge delay. It will really help. The added melee damage there is unnecessary for you. You want your shield down as long as possible.

Find an area with a lot of enemies (lower levels help). Look for an area with at least 10 enemies in close proximity. Throw a shock grenade at your feet (A Tesla grenade will do just fine). This will strip your shield and give you the roid damage bonus from your shield. Go into deception, and melee attack enemies from behind (this will proc backstab, which is a massive melee bonus). Reposition yourself to stab them from behind if you must. Sometimes the side is ok too. Try not to hit them from the front. Also, the closer your deception timer is to 0, the more damage you will do. Try to hit enemies at 2.18 - 2.5 seconds left. This process will allow you to hit enemies for massive melee damage, and one hit kill them. Every kill will add 2 seconds to your deception timer and you will throw out a new decoy. The bonuses from followthrough and execute will help you get to your next target faster. Continue murdering, with one hit kills until the achievement pops. If at any point your shield recharges, stop, aim down and throw another shock grenade at your feet to strip your shield again to get the roid damage bonus.

You will know when you are getting the roid damage bonus from the shield because instead of the standard knife-like melee sound you will get a louder, punchier explosive crunch sound.

Follow this spec (achievable at lvl 37):

In the red Bloodshed tree on the far right, spec 5 into Killing blow, 5 into iron hand, 5 into followthrough (for speed and even more damage), 1 into execute (allowing your melee attack to become a longer range dash attack), 5 into backstab, 4 into resurgence and 1 into many must fall. Do not get grim for any reason, as the idea is to keep your shield down as long as possible.

In the blue cunning tree, get to ambush and put a point in it. This will also help a bit. It would be best if you could get all 5 in it.

Follow the procedure outlined above, and you should get it. I hope all of this helps you out. If any of this is confusing, or you are unsure, then I have added you to advise you some more.

First of all, I really appreciate for your very detail explanation.
Now, My Zero level is 41, and I'm playing BT2 in True Vault Hunter mode to level up more.

Surely, I tried this achievement in normal mode and low level area.

I watched this video, and tried it the same.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQxMdFyg8JM

I understand the mechanism, not fully though.
(I haven't tried it again, yet)

After all, the most important thing you recommend is that 'one melee, one kill', or leaving deception.

I will try it later.

Thanks again for your help. :)

If you have actually tried it with MMF, i think best tip you got here was this:

Just start any low level arena round with MMF & without Grim. If you don't unlock the achievement like this.. I wager you set out not to do so, or the achievement is bugged for you.
