Best way to powerlevel someone?
What is the general approach for powerlevelling someone? Just have them join your high level game and play some quests? I'm considering helping a friend but I didn't know if there was a general best path or most efficient way.

One of the best ways that I've heard of is going to the Mercenary Day DLC and kill the big snowman over and over. Should be relatively fast leveling.

if you don't have any of the DLC just farm the warrior

Haha what a jerk. How is powerlevelling cheating?

Gaining xp for doing nothing. The game is designed to give xp for kills and achievements. Powerlevelling circumvents that. And, it wastes time for two people at once; the one doing the high level playing, and the one just standing there trying not to take any damage. Generally, powerlevelled players suck. So, not cheating exactly, but a lame practice nontheless.

Great well I appreciate all the needless preaching that could have been avoiding by you people taking your crusade elsewhere. Seriously if you don't have anything to add on the topic why chime in with your useless boo-hooing over a practice you don't like? We get it, some people don't play a coop game how you like.

This is for a friend who already has a high level character and wants to try a different class without the tedium of replaying the story 3 times. I like all the judgment and complaining though.

If you have the torgue DLC add me to your friends and ill do it, if not tell me what you do have and we'll figure something out :)

Thanks but I don't need the powerlevel, I'm just trying to figure out the "meta" for powerlevelling someone else. We both have all the DLCs.

Again, if you are going to avoid the playthroughs, just use Gibbed. Then there is nothing to "figure out" and no one's time is wasted. Since he is looking to avoid the actual playing of the game, he can now level up his savefile without even launching bl2. That is 100% avoidance of the game!

Zero with B0re can kill BNK-3R in seconds, leave area, enter again - and it respawns. I think fastest I had was 1 kill per 2 minutes, including looking at loot.
Otherwise, Pyro Pete's Bar in Torgue DLC is proved and approved method of raking XP. It's also more fun that way =)

The way I see it is you are too blind to see that the real solution was presented, Gibbed. Have your friend load their high level save, change the class, change save slot, save to new file name (following naming conventions) and YaY! Near instant new class at high level. Then your friend can go get class mod etc for new one.

Yeah, quit wasting other people's time. If ALL you (or your "friend") care about is being max level, then use the editor. (Gibbed or Bordertool2 depending on your OS).

::Poof:: instant high level character, and no one had to waste any time power-leveling anyone.

And yes, you are just skipping a huge percentage of the intrinsic game play, and wasting your investment in a gaming vehicle which is designed to be entertaining at ALL levels. All under some misguided idea that the game only happens at max level.

If you really want to have fun with your friend, then BOTH of you should start new characters and play together.

i have 6 op8 characters and 6 (72) with no op characters leveld them all up without that lame powerleveling.
powerleveling is for ppl with no skills..
The best way to power-level someone is to not do it in the first place. Play the game as intended and enjoy it. The best rewards come with the work you put in to earning them.
