Yea that was one of the first things I did, i can't use Horizon like i said because when it's all installed and i try to open it, the horizon logo just blinks and nothing happens, it's a common known problem and I don't know how to fix it therefore i need to do this save transfer without horizon.
but u can't change the xbox formatting to pc on gibbed with the save files. the way a char is saved on xbox is different to pc and u can't change them in gibbed for existing chars.
Like this?

That doesn't work i have tried. I think that platform picture is more for when creating characters, not switching platform format with an existing character.
Still need help ;( i had a lot of high leveled chars
No, it is exactly what it is used for. Many people have moved saves from console to PC and PC to console. You have to decrypt the save to go to PC and encrypt it to go back to console. If you follow the steps in that video you should be able to get your save/s from console to PC, been done for years like that.
You walk into shop and buy a console game, play it, enjoy it, so much so that you decide to also purchase it on pc aswell, cause pc master race, better frame rate etc etc etc... There is a plethera of reasons but the point is you bought it, again.
But then if we talk about measuring a games worth / value, we do it by taking the hours played and enjoyed and dividing it by dollars spent on a title... If i spend $60 on a game and play for 2000 hours. I got value for money, that's $0.03 per hour of enjoyment i get from playing a game. Thats a bargain, and money well spent... I've spent more on a coffee and spent less time in the cafe i got it from.
You can do what you like, it's your money, your time, but i really don't get the logic or how you're getting any satisfaction from your purchase by cutting that value for your money in half.
wtf are you on about. Seriously why bother righting that nonsensical bs about money and time that nobody but yourself cares about. Also i bought bl2 on pc because my friends are on pc u idiot, i want to play with them. In no way did u benefit this thread except you comforting yourself. Just because something doesn't apply to you doesn't mean you should put others down who it does apply to.
After getting your xbox saves from xbox360 to pc you need to follow the steps from 3:01 onwards on this video courtesy of trukr
basically download the gibbed save editor, then find the file location and run the application. Afterwards find your saves, click on the 'open' button on the top left of gibbed. paste them in. after that then click on formatting and change the 'PC Save Files (*.sav)' to 'X360 Save Files (*sav)' (this is what i didn't do before lol). click on the save you want, click open then you should have it loaded on gibbed. go on the general tab and change 'Platform' from 'PC' to '360'. On the top left finally click save. All done!
Another thanks to trukr, he really made me look twice on something i didn't realise i got wrong to begin with. thanks to the other helpers too. Have fun vault hunters! ^_^
It's a decision of the consumer. You are entitled to play or modify your saves however of your choosing. If I had spent a significant amount of time on PS3/PS4 (approximately 200 or 300 hrs max), and is possible to "convert" the save to a readable PC save, I would have done the same to keep the loot and progression I've reached. There's no need for the profanity; pay no mind to the arrogant.
A web developer once said, a great programmer/coder can debug most problems by searching for errors. Googling your problem is one of those steps after verifying each line of code. Take your time when attempting to go about something next time, unless you're very quick at troubleshooting, then no problem.
thanks :) wise words, i'll remember that!
