How can I reset or erase my badass rank and bonus points?

deleting your profile bin file located c: my documents>my games>borderlands 2>willowgame>save data>(large number map).
IMPORTANT: i don't know if this will affect your characters i think so so its possible that they all be deleted.
when i wanted to reset my badassrank to 0 i just deleted everything in that (large number map) to make a fresh new start.

Also disable cloud save or it will redownload your saved profile.bin.

Also also yes using old chars might affect you insofar as loading an old toon into a new profile may reverse the whole point - AFAIK, it will just add the toon's ranks to the profile, making the point moot.

So delete the whole savefolder and restart everything fresh, that will work 100%.

Edit: At least I remember it doing weird things to your BAR when you use old toons. Not recommended.
Also you will loose all skin and head unlocks, so be prepared for that.

Deleting your profile.bin also deletes any character skins you've unlocked, except for the ones currently selected for each character profile, Golden Keys, and any weapons stored in the Stash. Weapons equipped to each character profile, as well as gear stored in the Bank remain unchanged.

Did it myself in hopes of getting rid of a strange respawn value.

Go to library, right click Borderlands 2, select properties, go to updates tab, deselect Enable Seam Cloud.

Yeah, but back up everything first, just incase you're not happy with the results.

I don't know about Gibbed, but I do know Bordertool2 can reset Badass ranks and bonus points. I would assume it's also possible with Gibbed. That way you wouldn't have to worry about losing skins or heads.

I'm guessing OP still wants them but has cheated them / got them cheated to ridiculous levels and now wants to reset to legitimately earn them.

At least that's the only reason I can think of.

After the latest patch you no longer need to spent tokens on all stats equally. It´s possible to skip stats like shiel recharge delay which ruin roid-shields.
Would be another reason I could think of.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for that info.

Not that I will go ahead and nullify all my hard work (sitting somewhere around 120k, I believe), and also I don't do Roids, but good to know nevertheless.
