When do I get the 4th weapon slot?
Been playing the game for more than 20 hours and the 4th slot is still locked... Why does it take so long to unlock?

Completing the Story Mission: "Bright Lights: Flying City" grants you the 4th weapon slot.

Never mind, already got it. Thanks anyway.

imo restricting weapon slots in the early-to-mid-game is an annoying, unnecessary decision. No idea what that adds to anything. I wish you just had all weapon slots right from the start.

Well said bro. And in the later game you already have good weapons and lots of eridium stuff to pump up your ammo so you dont need that many weapons anymore, lol!

If you rely on elemental damage (Siren player here), I think you need all the weapon slots you can find.

Games managed to have 8 or more weapon slots 20 years ago, today they're mostly restricted to 2-4. That's the sound of progress, baby.

The best way to play the game is to skip normal mode entirely , on the main menu look for the option Select Character.

Click it and scroll down to the bottom where you will see create new character and below that you should see (if you have the commander lilith DLC) create level 30 character like this https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3004655075

That level 30 character comes with all normal mode missions completed and some decent level 30 gear , you are supposed to go play the commander lilith DLC with it but instead what you should do is go kill The Warrior , move on to True Vault hunter mode.

It takes like 10 minutes but starting as a level 30 new character in TVHM is so much better than being a level 1 in normal with no skill tree or weapon slots.

Dude, this is a thread from 2016. Did you seriously search this thread up in google, got so angry at something someone said 8 years ago and just had to respond?

I want real life....one weapon with maybe a side arm.....8 weapons was a always a joke....you needing them was the punch line......

This thread was quite old before the recent posts, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
