Firstly, as the Dragons are elemental, non-elemental weapons might be a better option for you (or explosive).
When they land, they do their individual party tricks;
Healianth (blue, shock) heals all the other dragons when he lands
Brood (green, corrosive) spawns smaller dragons when he lands
Incinerator (red, incendiary) sets the floor of the arena on fire when he lands
Boost (dark purple, slag) levels the dragons up each time he lands
The most important thing here is that they will only land when you shoot them.
So, shoot the one you want to deal with, wait for it to land, and then shoot them in the face (their crit spot). When dead, shoot the next one until they are all dead.
The order above works. Brood and incinerator can be swapped, but Healianth first, Boost last.
Incinerator covers himself with his wings when he is on the ground and will reflect any bullets when he is like this - easy to kill yourself in other words. When he is done setting the floor on fire he will rear up and roar for a bit before taking off and this is when he is most vulnerable.
Be very careful about accidentally shooting Boost. He is dark purple, and against a black sky, very difficult to see, and has a sneaky trick of flying close to other dragons so you might accidentally hit him as well as your chosen dragon.
So, shoot one dragon at a time, wait for them to land then finish them off. When you finally finish off Boost, run to and then stand in the middle of the arena for the lootsplosion. It is very impressive :)
As Maya, you may find Thoughlock useful. Bring Brood down at an appropriate moment and lock one of the broodlings. Don't spec Chain Reaction, don't slag or phaselock them when they're in the air. I like an Infinity pistol to bring them down (it's great for coop there too, spec Restoration and you can keep a player up even if they're reviving you under dragon breath by shooting them with the infinity) or a Hellfire.
I prefer a high capacity shield like a Neogenator or a Blockade to survive solo, but if you're in coop and have a Legendary Siren mod on it is possible to get away with the Bee.
