BL2 crashes when i try to meet Scooter, Zed or Marcus, need help

As you play the game you meet Scooter, Zed and Marcus in the sanctuary and the cut scene comes up, but as soon as the cut scene starts the game crashes and says it is not responding and i have to restart it, does this with new characters and my OP4 Zero i wanted to re run the game with, can anyone help

Ive experienced that crash sporadically for years and never new what caused it. You saved me a lot of stress
