Is Siren boring to play?

At the end, is she boring to play? Like just phaselocking stuff and shooting or is she cool to play? Want to play an interesting character.

Kreig is pretty fun if you don't care about all that min/making stuff and just want to have fun.

Melee Zer0. If you level him up right you can stay cloaked and teleport from enemy to enemy and one hit kill them with backstab. Each kill resets your cloak. I can't remember the exact skill distribution but if you look around the web you'll find a good build to work off of.

Best character I like to play. By the way she isn't GUARANTEED to have OP heal, it's only if you choose that path she does. I didn't, I chose the damage one.

She's not braindead mode like Salvador or Gaige, if that's what you're asking. She's got enough to keep her interesting.

However, if you're looking for unique gameplay mechanics then Zer0 or Krieg might be better choices.

I'm currently playing her on TVHM and I've still got love for her. Her phaselocking can be a life saver. I love sniping a psychos head off while having them in a phaselock. I'm currently playing Salvador as well and I love dual wielding smgs with him.

I'd vouch for melee Zer0, he is extra fun, just make sure to have a rocket launcher in case you go down to fight for your life. Haven't played much with Siren. Lost interest early on.

Maya is my most played character. Reasons:

-I don't need to carry any slag/Moxxi guns, as I can slag and heal just fine.
-Phaselock offers great crowd control when upgraded with Converge.
-Res is invaluable in a team
-If you have Chain Reaction, you can damage multiple enemies while Phaselock is active.
-Able to heal teammates with Restoration and Elated

So while Phaselock sounds pretty boring at first, it gets a lot better as you level up.

That's exactly what Im tryig to avoid: braindead characters. Krieg looks nice. Had just watched a video of full Buzz Axe Rampage. Between Krieg and Maya, which one is the less braindead character?

PS: not sure if I liked Zero playstyle, from what I've seen on youtube.

Edit: will I care about the weapons I find with Kriege? They build I saw the guy stayed full time in Buzz, not using weapons to shoot. That's kind sux! hahahaha

I don't have Krieg so I can't say much about how he plays, but from what I've seen he's a high risk high reward character. You do things with him that you wouldn't do with other characters, such as setting yourself on fire, keeping your shields down, etc. I also remember someone saying that it's ok to go down a lot with Krieg.

By the way, do you play in a group, or solo? When I play in a group there tends to be a Sal/Krieg already, so I play support.

With Melee Krieg, you don't need much gear to get by in the main game. Any bladed Moxxi gun lets you regenerate health if you aren't using your action skill, a gun or 3 you like for getting Second Wind in case you get downed, and a Roid shield, preferably Love Thumper if solo or Hide of Terra if in multiplayer.

Of those I named, 1 is a 100% chance from a quest and part variance doesn't matter too much(Love Thumper), another(bladed Moxxi gun) has a lot of options available and at least one can be obtained infinitely if you don't get a desired version, and only 1(Hide of Terra) is a boss drop... that I only suggest for Multiplayer anyway. 3 equips that you might worry about.

My idea is to 100% solo. Though he looks fun, Krieg don't need much gear is a downside to me, in a way. It's kind fun to find nem stuff... More inclined to go with Maya. Really hope she's fun to play! :D

See, the thing is with Krieg not needing much in gear means that you have far more equip slots to play around with while still having good equipment set. Like, if you only need 1 weapon to ensure you are a physical god, that gives you 3 slots you can swap around freely without risking getting ruined.
