Open Gibbed, type in 72, save, done.

Quickest purely legit way is probly to get a bunch of other players around your level and just have fun with them, killing whatever, Raid Bosses included.

If you don't mind abusing in game glitches and such, you can go faster then the above. Grenade Jump trick into Marcus's shop, and mass kill the dummy from the Fire or Slag weapons test.

After that, you'd have to use cheat deviced to go faster.

This is the fastest way don't bother with the 2 hour glitches cheating is cheating this way you can also lvl all your weapons the 72 also. If you don't want to cheat once getting to UVHM go to the torque dlc and do the bar fight over and over and over again. After that do it more. It's boring but the fastest legit way. If your bored beat the game again then go beat all of the dlc places.
