How to do the "hoplite" (0 hp glitch)

[Confusing Name]

I've seen some videos, and I got a class mod and turtle shield that theoretically get me below 0 hp, but it brings me to 1 hp because of the patch. How do I get to 0 HP? Do I need a hoplite? Or is it just not possible anymore?

not for solo play can still work in co-op but you have to kill yourself first then have teammate revive you when your health should then be zero

I just tried that and it didn't work (though I still don't have a hoplite, that may be it)

i used hoplite unyielding banshee class mod fire relic stopping sandhawk (fire) and a bee shield and it still works ok in co-op

it cant be done anymore, there is a slight coop variation
