No mention of "Critical Hit" info though.
The Tumtum prefix increases critical damage.
It may depend on your character, skills, etc., but I think the theory is that higher base damage (Skookum) gives you more damage on a body shot, and also gives you extra damage when you get a critical (since that's calculated from the base damage).
I don't know if you actually get higher damage from a critical hit with a Skookum vs Tumtum. That might depend on your skills, etc.
