Best way to farm cash?

Farm chests that are near respawn points. Loot, save & quit and do it again.

When you need some cash, even at level 01, you can go to the Torque dlc and farm the three chests there without taking on the npc's. Takes about three minutes to make some good loot.

When I was hurting for cash early on, I would just spend about 10 gold keys, keep any Items I wanted and sell the rest. The items that come out of the gold chest usually sell for very high prices compared to loot you find.

once you finish TVHM or even PT1 for that matter the quickest to farm cash and eridium is from the warrior in my opinion. pick up all the eridium, cash and weapons you can carry, exit and restart. sell the weapons. and repeat.

Seeing as there are a huge amount of Free Golden Keys, selling items from the Chest in Santuary will get you a lot of cash quickly.

I'm 43. Problem is that I'm half way to "For the hoard"Rank 4 and wish to complete both 4 and 5 so I need loooooooooooot of money not just few $.
In theory MR2_Pilot has right. Spending 80 or sth about Golden keyes can do the trick. Depends how much is needed for rank 5.

Nemo, I personally would suggest just playing the game normally. If you get to Level 50 or higher, beat TVHM, and are still a fair amount off from it, then consider keys. All the challenges are balanced to be fair for a level cap of 50, so if you go to or beyond that, you'll get it done faster then you would at 43.

If you have the Tina DLC, and have Eridium to burn, the Flamerock slots give cash jackpots all the time. And if you have a higher level character, you can have them pick up some higher level item and use the Stash to pass it to your level 43 character to sell.

As it has been said already, farming bosses and/or respawning near high level chests again and again without dying is the better way

southpaw steam and power can be pretty decent.. good amount of chests, 4 possible boss loots, pleanty of cash boxes, ect. or the warrior, always a good farm. lets not forget bunker (bnk3r).. it can drop a crap load of gear and is fairly easy to kill. there are other areas.. but the best advice has been given

just play the game normaly. AND STAY AWAY FROM THE SLOTS!
