What is the best class to solo the game?

I am currently playing as a soldier, but I was thinking maybe mechomancer is easier. Also, who has the better endgame?

1 point in healthy and expertise are to activate bonus of Legendary Soldier class mode.
Forbearance is filler, but helps a bit to speed up shield recharge cooldown a bit more.

Its not a 'boss masher' destroying solo invincible bosses, but all game long (and on DP) it goes nicely. Focus on DAHL weaponry, thats really easy to get (Seraphim, Lascaux, Gwens head, minigun), works great with lead storm.

Creature dome is poor example. Lots of pups, no shotguns etc. Can deathtrap tank 2 Jaggernauts for 30 sec on its own? Or shoot slag bullets?

I feel the gunzerker is the most overpowered and broken character in the game, especially with the pimpernel/nukem glitch. The Gunzerker is the best, in my opinion to solo the game because he can pretty much solo every single boss in the game, raid bosses included. Krieg is a super close 2nd in terms of OP, but Krieg is the most fun and definately not boring. I highly recommend Krieg over anyone else to solo, only because he is a lot of fun to run around. If you don't have any of the DLC, then Sal is your best bet

I got all the dlc. Ok I'll start a krieg to try him out. Any easy builds to solo the game? Any tips?

For starting builds, go down the mania tree, picking up anything that buffs melee damage and health regen, until you get Release the beast. Then work your way down the bloodlust tree and pick up anything that buffs explosive damage and work down to bloodsplosion....

Just think it through when picking Light the fuses. Its fun and all, but imo launcher is better when you cant use fast speed to get revive from teammate.

light the fuse is really bad at low level....But once you get into TVHM / UVHM its really strong,...Not so good when you go into OP lvls tho

all characters can do good till TVHM, after that the gunzerker shines over any other character

if you include bugs gunzerker isn't any more broken than any other class

all characters can 1shot all mobs in the game by either merging/abusing class mechanics (immolate/b0re/nth/pimphab/etc)

the thing that makes salvador seem op is that he requires little to no thought to play

endgame comes down to which playstyle you prefer

I've only beaten the game as a Siren and a Mechromancer. I recommend both. Maya can negate just about any annoying enemy you can think of with Phaselock. Rabid ANYTHING, RPG Loaders, Goliath Blasters, Skeleton Mages, Surveyors, Nechromancers/Wizards and the like can all be negated in Phaselock. If they can't be phaselocked, then Ruin is likely or guaranteed to slag them. Plus, she has the shortest cooldown of all the characters so you could spam the hell out Phaselock.

The Mechromancer is not as good at crowd control unless you spec her correctly. However, she is certainly more fun to play as. Her Anarchy can syngerize well with a lot of different weapons and render some useless. Close Enough is a skill that allows her to kick ass without having to aim as finely. She's hilarious with all her quotes and changing personality as she gains more Anarchy. Deathtrap has his share of AI issues. But, if you spec him correctly and give him the proper shield, he'll be killing enemies in 1 or 2 hits once you reach end-game (UVHM).

Ahahaha, Krieg is THE broken character of BL2. He can solo Hyperios in 5 secs.

Deathtrap and turrets become mild distractions/novelties in UVHM.
What saves Gaige is a combination of Blood Soaked Shields and Anarchy, which isn't any more powerful than any other efficient character build. I think phaselock actually becomes a better pet than both trap and gemini hahaha

If you get phaselock's ability to go to other enemies then it pretty much is like deathtrap only more reliable and a third of the cooldown time. Just aim and kill then watch it eat another enemy and repeat.

IMO - End Game; Sal's the most powerful, Maya's the most fun. At high levels, if you have a DPUH, your better off.
