Zer0 vs Hyperius
I try to kill Hyperius with Zer0 and B0re but I doesn't seem to work. I watched some Youtube videos on how to throw the granades to pull the bots together but it doesn't seem to work. I only do very little damage to him.

Any advice? :(

It is tricky. I have had some success with the god-bore, but getting everyone in the right place is quite diffucult to do consistently. Of course, I can easily kill Hype w/o gimmicks, so if the b0re method fails, I just do it the regular way. Would be nice to get wired, though. Keep practicing is all I can tell you. Also, I had a friend with a rather slow computer, and according to him, his machine couldn't process b0re properly and it failed to work until he got a new machine.

What gun are you using? What level are you fighting him at? What build do you have?

Once at 50, you should REALLY go uvhm. Immediately. If you wait until, say 54, you will regret it.

This is true and you should listen to his warning.

Your Bore gun should be one that does little damage (but you should keep that Sandhawk in case you have to kill him the normal way). You do not want to kill the loaders because you need their hitboxes to overlap with Hyperius.

Gothalian has a good video on where to place your singularity grenades: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0diiiISm0eQ

Having a high framerate also increases your chances of a successful Bore: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8th1gVkozU

Even then it will require multiple tries.

And yes, the earlier you can move onto UVHM the better.

The sandhawk is not very good for b0re, because even with the flying prefix (bullet speed) the projectiles are quite slow. The idea is to line up enemies and shoot in crit spots. This is what causes massive damage to the enemies behind.

If you really want to bore Hyperius, there are better guns to use like the Twister (Very hard to farm), or the Pimpernel (quest reward). Jakobs shotguns in general will serve you better than sandhawks. The Double penetrating Unkempt Harold is okay too (very easy to acquire).

Most people use quasars to bunch up the enemies, however I feel that slag singularities are better. It helps that the grenade has 0 fuse time, and the longbow prefix is not great as it is trickier to aim. Lobbed prefix is best for this.

Try to aim your grenade throws to bunch up his minions on one side. If you are not using a slag grenade or slag weapon, then do so (this may not work if the enemies' shields are up). Enter deception and try and aim line up Hyperius with at least two of his minions. Try to hit the first enemy in a crit spot. Boring in one shot is tricky, but you can often do it in 2 - 4. If you fall out of deception, retreat a little and try again.

It's just practice. B0re alone may not suffice. It helps to either have Deathmark and Death Bl0ssom. If you can apply death blossom to Hyperius (will not work if his shields are up, and he will look like a cylinder in deception) and maybe a minion or two, you can make quick work of him.

Over leveling is going to rape you when you get tp UVHM, when all the enemies are the same or 2 levels higher than you and you're prancing around with level 50 gear.

That being said, Hyperius is Boreable, very much so. I just spam singularity grenades while i run in a cirlce around him and his bots. Always toss your grenades at hyperius so all the bots get dragged onto him. Once the majority of your enemies are stacked ontop of each other, shoot through them at hyperius.

I find killing Hyperius normal way is easier to do than trying to instakill him using bore. Take less than 5 minutes to kill him this way.
Sandhawk + bee shield to take his health down until hyperius start jumping around. Roid shield + rapier to finish him off. Rubi + chain lightning for healing.
Skill bore to penetrate his shield. Killing blow, backstab and execute to finish him off. Use ninja class mod that give points to backstab and killing blow.
